I ordered 2 HP inkjet cartridges from Office Depot last week; they sent me 2 and both had expired dates on them. Office Depot credited my purchase for sending me out expired cartridges and they decided to ship me 2 more. I received those a few days ago and guess what; they were expired too and Office Depot credited me for the second 2. Here's a question that H.P.'s customer service in Asia could not answer; I asked if I have a cartridge with a warranty ends date of August 2017 was it still safe to use in my printer which is almost 8 years old? They couldn't answer that question. I then asked when was a cartridge made if it had an August 2017 warranty ends date? They couldn't answer that question. Finally I asked how long did HP warranty their cartridges once they were made? They couldn't answer that question either. Anyone on this board who uses HP inkjet cartridges familiar with how these expiration dates work since apparently csr's at HP in Asia aren't?
