Third Age is a mod for Medieval II: Total War created by A team lead by King Kong. It’s a conversion that brings you into the world of Middle-earth.
A submod for Westeros: Total War designed to bring the look, the feel and the sounds of HBO's Game of Thrones to the world of Westeros. (Alas I have no affiliation with HBO) This submod is currently for version 0.53 of Westeros: Total War which is currently. Since yesterday - and some kind of massive update my game no longer has the kingdoms exe and the launcher exe files. They are missing. I have tried full un-install re-install, verify game cache, delete appcache from steam directory- in short, every step possible. However, the download still refuses to install the two exe files that are neccasary to run kingdoms.

~ A great variety of units, including many famous creatures like Ents, Mumakil, Trolls, Wargs, Spiders or Sauron himself
~ More than 25 custom settlements and famous locations
There is a lot of more to discover including Improved AI, new sounds, music, movies, custom artwork amoung many other new features...

Description
Westeros: Total War is a modification for Medieval 2 Total War: Kingdoms. It is based on the 'A Song of Ice and Fire' novels by George R.R. Martin.
Features:
- New graphics and banners for all Westerosi families
- Three fully skinned factions: Stark, Tully and Joffrey
- Detailed campaign map of Westeros
- Long summers and vicious winters, with proper aging (courtesy of GrnEyedDvl)
- Garrison Script for Dorne
- Foreign faction leader death notifications (courtesy of Blood, Broads and Bastards)
- Outriders that can steal enemy supplies
- Assassin Hiring
- Claiming Kingship
- Various optional events (inspired by Anno Domini)
- Bloodline traits for all major families (courtesy of BBB)
- Completely new Westerosi Ancillaries (and there are a LOT of them!)
- Office ancillaries for noble houses and Kings (inspired by BBB)
- Heraldic ancillaries (inspired by BBB)
- Campaign AI by XAI (not 100% implemented)
- Battle AI by XAI
- Westerosi Guilds, including assassins, alchemists and Faith Militants. Not perfected though, purchase with caution.
- Balanced Victory Conditions for noble Lords and Kings
To install:
Third Age Total War
1.Extract the archive into „mods” folder (you will find it in your game’s folder)
2.Launch Westeros.bat.
